Student Member
- Who Should Join: Undergraduate or graduate students pursuing academic degrees in petroleum engineering, geology, data science, HSE, project management, or other energy disciplines.
- Eligibility: Proof of full-time student status.

- Annual Fee: $150
Associate Member (AIBOGP®)
- Who Should Join: Early-career professionals (0–5 years) or recent graduates starting their careers in oil & gas or energy services.
- Eligibility: Diploma or degree in energy-related fields.
- Benefits: • Eligibility to take entry-level certifications • Access to professional development sessions • Use of the post-nominal “AIBOGP®” • Networking with technical peer groups

Certified Professional Member (CIBOGP®)
- Who Should Join: Mid-level professionals with active IBOGP® certifications in fields such as exploration, HSE, digital systems, energy finance, or process safety.
- Eligibility: • Completion of one or more IBOGP® certifications • 1-5 years of professional experience
- Benefits: • Use of the “CIBOGP®” post-nominal • Priority access to recertifications and workshops • Eligible to serve as exam reviewer or workshop mentor • Invitation to expert roundtables

Chartered Member (Ch.IBOGP®)
- Who Should Join: Experienced engineers, project managers, senior technical professionals, HSE leaders, and operations managers who have completed an IBOGP® Chartered Certification Exam (e.g., CRSRE®, C-AIGAS®, CPEETS®, CSFSE®, etc.)
- Eligibility: • Successful completion of a Chartered-level certification • 1-5 years of progressive responsibility in the oil and gas sector

Fellow (FIBOGP®)
- Who Should Join: Senior executives, distinguished engineers, policy experts, researchers, or consultants with more than 15 years of impact in oil & gas or energy innovation.
- Eligibility: • Nomination by peers or board, or direct application with a portfolio
- Benefits: • Use of “FIBOGP®” title • Lifetime designation (with continued engagement) • Opportunity to join standards advisory groups and boards • Speaking and authorship opportunities at global events

Honorary Member

- Who Should Join: Professors, lecturers, or researchers in oil & gas institutions or R&D centers. Eligibility: Faculty appointment or publication record in relevant fields.

Corporate / Institutional Membership

Registration Process
