1. What is an Authorized Training Partner (ATP)?
An ATP is an officially recognized organization licensed to deliver IBOGP certification preparation programs, short courses, and skill-specific training aligned with IBOGP’s ISO-aligned certification framework.

Eligible organizations include:

  • Universities and academic institutions 
  • Vocational and trade schools 
  • Professional development firms 
  • Internal learning departments of energy firms 
  • License to Deliver: Offer official IBOGP certification preparation and recertification courses. 
  • Revenue Sharing: Generate additional income through endorsed training programs. 
  • Global Recognition: Leverage IBOGP’s non-profit credibility and ANSI-aligned framework. 
  • Curriculum Support: Receive standardized, regularly updated course materials. 
  • Access to Instructors: Tap into IBOGP-certified trainers and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Yes, there is an annual ATP licensing fee starting from $1,250, which covers branding, curriculum access, quality audits, and ongoing support.
ATPs facilitate training but do not directly certify learners. IBOGP administers certification exams through secure online or in-person proctoring options.
Yes. IBOGP ATPs may operate regionally or globally based on their approved scope and agreement terms. Multi-country delivery may require additional authorization.
