4. What are the eligibility requirements?
- Student Member: Must provide current academic enrollment verification
- Associate Member: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
- Certified Member: Must pass an IBOGP® certification exam
- Chartered Member: Requires 3+ years of industry experience and successful completion of a Chartered examination
- Fellow: Nominated by peers and approved by the IBOGP® Board of Examiner
5. How do I become a Certified or Chartered Member?
To become a:
- Certified Member (CIBOGP®): Apply for a certification track, pass the exam, and receive your designation.
- Chartered Member (CHIBOGP®): Apply through the chartered membership route. Submit your professional profile, pass the chartered exam, and meet the experience benchmarks (usually 5–10 years minimum).

- Pay the applicable membership fee
- You will receive your digital membership ID and welcome pack within 5–7 business days
